Brand New Toy

Sun Jan 28, 2007, 2:16 PM
The other day, Jon and I spent a LOT of money on our newest toy:

Canon Rebel XTI. . . .

Ah. . . it's so pretty. . .

I just wish I had some inspiration now to use it. I hate the suburbs for this reason. Everything is . . . the same. Pretty much, if you've been to one suburb, you've been to them all. And its a bit too chilly for me to go find a park or walk around the neighborhood looking for inspiration.

I wish I were in Portland; I can think of lots of places I'd like to photograph there. Even Seattle. . . I could find something. I wouldn't be as comfortable, but I could find something.

I can't wait to take it to the Dominican next month.

I did play around a bit with household items . . . knick-knacks and such, but I have to install a program for the memory card before uploading them to the site. Don't worry though, I'll post what I'm proud of here.

In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry, and has been widely regarded as a bad move.
